Journey by car:
coming from Munich travel on the motorway A8 in
direction of Salzburg; at the motorway interchange
“Inntaldreieck” continue on the motorway A93 in
direction of the Austrian border; leave it after about
20 kilometres at the exit “Oberaudorf”.
Journey by train:
travel to Munich which can by reached easily from all
major German railway junctions by Intercity trains (IC)
and High speed trains (ICE) which run frequently; take
there a connection train in direction of Kufstein/Austria;
change at Rosenheim, from where local trains run
frequently to Oberaudorf
Public transports:
The region around the Mount “Wendelstein” is well served
by public transports. Thus numerous attractions, natural
and cultural sights, can be reached easily by bus or by
train. There is moreover a reliable private transport
business which organizes every day several excursions to
interesting destinations in the Alpine and Prealpine
